With its success in retail, an industrial food manufacturing campaign began and the SOLO® ingredient has been successfully incorporated into several retail food products, some of which are co-branded with the SOLO® trademark. Based upon the success in the UK, and the exploding development and success of reduced sodium foods in the US, The Low Sodium Sea Salt Company reached an exclusive manufacturing, sales and distribution agreement with Springfield, IL-based Nexcel Natural Ingredients, Division of Spectrum Foods to develop a US-based industrial presence, The Low Sodium Sea Salt Company USA.
